Well, the mini-vacation is over and I am back to reality. My work week starts up again tomorrow and the rest is the week will be quite a doozie, with lots of work.

When I got back today I thought a relaxing way to spend the day would be to Thrift Shop. It doesn’t take that much effort, doesn’t cost anything (unless you buy things but never expensive), and it is relaxing.

I did in fact buy a couple things. I couldn’t  resist.

A new pot for plants, since I am no obsessed with plants. It was $2.99!

I also got this random book, which will hopefully inspire me to travel to some awesome places. It was $3.99!

A simple check off of the list today, but well deserved I think, after the last few days.

On a side note, I finally finished The Red Tent, the third book checked off my list from earlier this year. I highly recommend it to any and every woman. I started Big Little Lies, which already is a complete 180, but I think I will enjoy it in a very different way.

I also started my 4th (of 8) scarves for my nieces and nephews:

Hopefully, I can finish that one quickly because if I am going to have all of them done by Christmas, that is coming up quick!
