March 9th: Write Handwritten Messages to my Nieces and Nephews

Today is my last day in Maui. I know, how depressing. 😬

I hope to carry the positivity and excitement that this trip has brought me through to daily life in Denver and that I can continue on with my list. Sometimes vacations can make it even harder to return back to normal life. Only time will tell.

Today I crossed off a great one on my list. A couple years ago when I added this item to my list, as with many items, I didn’t really know what it would actually be.

But today that question was answered. I wrote postcards to each of my nieces and nephews.

I hope they enjoy a little tidbit from my trip and know that I was thinking about them!

June 1st: Take a Mini Vacation

This is much needed!!!

I arrived in Indianapolis where my sister, Nicole, and her three kids and husband live. It is going to be a quick 6 days but I am excited to be away from work and spend some time with these little ones… (plus one more not pictured)!

We have so much planned. An afternoon in the park, then my sister and brother-in-law go to Chicago for a concert while I watch the little ones… art time, movie and snacks, ice cream, Auntie sleepover… it’s going to be a blast. Then, weather permitting, Latern Festival (which is on my list and sold out in Denver!!), Wonder Woman movie day, soccer game with my sister’s league.

It’s going to be a fun filled packed few days but great!

May 3rd: Adopt a Star

I know this is like a really cheesy thing and it is not like I actually own this star but I thought it was something cool to do.

Plus, I found this foundation – White Dwarf Project – which donates the money to scientific exploration of space.

So I adopted a star in the name of my family:

My family has been going through a lot recently but we are always there for each other and always supportive of life changes and decisions… we are a clan and I cannot imagine my life without them. This star is out there now with our name on it. Regardless of how official it truly is…

You got to pick  number of star too, so I picked 0825, which is my parents wedding anniversary. ❤😁
