This was not the first time and it will not be the last. But it was nice out today and we went and played 18 holes after hitting some balls.
I shot the best game of my life, 97. Which, probably is not so great to most people but super exciting for me.
Well, I did not think it had been that long but when I went to update my resume today I did not even have my current place of employment on there… and I have been at the place for over THREE YEARS! But I did it. I updated it.
It was slightly disheartening because my second page includes art exhibitions I have been in and charity work I have done and I had NOTHING to add to those. So I think a goal should be to work on those things to add, because those are my life and should be the most important things I am working on.
If anyone has suggestions on things to change, edit, or add I would greatly appreciate feedback.
So there it is. As many of my other tasks I have been working on throughout the last month and a half, this might help get some of my other tasks down the road done. Always good to keep things updated and keep things rolling.
So this seems pretty simple, but not something I do on a regular basis. Or ever really.
So during the Super Bowl I was hanging with a bunch of my friends and coworkers. I got this really cool Polaroid camera on New Years so I brought it with me and took lots of selfies.
Sadly, I left my purse in my Uber and it had all the pictures in it. I am hoping to get it back, just waiting for the Uber driver to contact me back.
I will post the pictures when I get them back… if I get them back. I sure hope I do!
Well, I got my purse back and just snapped photos of all the selfie polaroids. No editing, and the quality isn’t great going from Polaroid to camera but fun nonetheless!
Somedays things just fall in your lap. I was sitting at work and I stepped outside for a moment. Sitting on the ground was a bottle of bubbles. So of course I took advantage of that situation… and it was very reminiscent of childhood. π
I watched Stagecoach today. I asked around, and most John Wayne fan friends I had said that was the best… and it was pretty good. I might actually go out and explore some other John Wayne π₯movies…
I cannot even remember what I was laughing at but holy Moses I was laughing!
These laughs are thanks to all those at the Walnut Room tonight. I snorted, I cried. I laughed, sssssssoooo hard.
I did it! I learned to knit today! This skill is a BIG part of my things down the road, so keep your eyes peeled for that! π
Side note: I am STILL vegetarian AND I got my first book today that is part of my list.
I cannot wait to get started on this list of books!

So this one wasn’t hard. We had our holiday party at the bar last night… quite the night of drinking. ππ―πΎ So today was a perfect day to be lazy and stay in my PJs.
Tomorrow I will have to be a little more productive.

Second of all, I did! Today is day seven of vegetarianism. I am so looking forward to the rest of the year. These first 11 days have been nice and easy but the next 354 days are going to be interesting… And hard!
Maybe this is cheating.
I should preface this post with: I am a bartender and never really wake up “early” but in reality early is relative. But today… I woke up EARLY. And still, to the point of “cheating” I woke up because I had to. But I did it and I was awake and I have yet to take a nap. (I love naps!)
So, here’s the story: I close the bar on Saturday night, which on a typically day means 2 AM at the earliest and 5 AM at the latest.
Last night, to my delight, I left work at 2:05 AM. Once I got home and laid down to sleep I finally closed my eyes and didn’t recall being awake again until 7:15 AM when my alarm went off. It felt far to early to be awake. My earliest shift every week is 9:45 AM. To be honest, the earliest I ever wake up is 8:45 AM. But on this day, I actually got out of bed at 7:30 AM. So I went to work and was productive. We had a new event at work today and it killed, so thank goodness I decided to be awake and productive early.
Good morning and good night. The productivity of today was bewildering and something I should probably do more.
Needs no explanation. Great friends=some great music. It’s an ecclectic mix, which is what you want… in friends and music! I have to say above everything else, I am amazed by this simple experience. As I listened to each song I saw the person that recommended it to me in the lyrics and melody. It made me smile and love the music even more.
